Last year we started a new tradition for fall of making popcorn balls and Joey has been wanting to make them again ever since. I love the recipe because unlike many other popcorn balls these are not too hot to make into a ball. You use marshmallow cream along with a simple syrup to help them stick together. This week we were finally able to make them since Jack has wanted to be in on the action too lately we had to wait until he was sleeping. Joey had a blast and he ate about as much as we made!

Looks yummy! Will you share your recipe?
20 cups popped popcorn
in large heavy sauce pan bring to a boil 1.5 cups light corn syrup and 1.5 cups sugar
then add 1-7 oz jar marshmallow cream, 2 T butter, 1 t vanilla mix well and add popcorn and any desired candy (optional)
with greased or damp hands roll into 3" balls wrap in plastic wrap-they keep for a week!
