November

I love November! I think because I love Thanksgiving-the food, the idea of it, the start of Christmas! It seems natural that Thanksgiving and having grateful hearts should be the beginning of the advent season. I want to be more faithful this month in posting about being thankful and mostly about what I am thankful for. It can be a hard concept to teach young children who are so egocentric. I am trying to teach Joey to be Thankful, but mostly it must start with me showing him through my own gratitude.
So today I'll start by just how thankful I am to answers to prayer. I was thinking about this season of life, how crazy busy it is, how fast time moves when you have young children and how important every day is, how normal routines and such only last a week or two. In thinking of these things I was reminded just how many answers to prayer God has given me-for a family, FAITHFUL friends, a job I LOVE, two SWEET boys, a LOVING husband, GOOD health-so much more. I really hope that this season especially I can focus on how great a heavenly Father I have and how much he has truly blessed me.
